Etude House review

Hello <3
How's the weather at your places? Yesterday, at night here was -18Celsius! It felt almost like in Poland hi hi <3
Recently, I've bough some new cosmetics, and I want to share what I got ^____^

Etude House Surprise Concealer Kit #02
Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream
Skinfood Watery Berry Eye Cream

I've probably mentioned it before; in April I'm going with my husband for a trip to Japan (ahh, I can't wait!!!) so I'm saving money and don't buy any clothing or makeup online. It's sooo hard because there's so many temptations (those wonderful Liz Lisa lucky packs >___<) but my will is of steel and I won't break!
Well, of course  there are things that are necessary for my everyday beauty rituals and moisturizing cream and under eye concealer are definitely ones of those!
This is actually my first time buying anything from Etude House, so I decided to write a small review ^____^

Etude House Flower Moistfull Cream
It's always such a dilemma, buy again something you like or try something new... Skinfood Facial water Vitamin C was my first Korean cream I've ever bought and I really love it. But I've read a lot of good reviews of Etude Moistfull Creams so I decided to try it myself. I chose the Flowers version with baobab tree extract and 83% flower sap (mostly cherry blossom).
The cream comes in nice jar with hygienic spatula. The first thing I noticed after opening it was the smell, comparing to the Facial Water, it's much more intensive, smells more like perfumes. When I put Skinfood on my face the scent was almost unnoticeable, and it disappeared after minute or two. With Flower Moistfull even after around 10 minutes, when I sat near my husband he started to sniff my face and asked what I have on it. The scent is quite pleasant but I think it would be too much for anyone who's sensitive for smells.
The cream itself has gel consistence, very similar to the Skinfood. It's very light, easy to applies and absorbs in to the skin quite fast.  I have normal skin, tough during winter, from time to time some dry patches appear on my face, and Etude creams does really good job with moisturizing it and leaving fresh looking.  The thing I don't like about it is that it leaves a little bit sticky feeling on my hands and after using it, I have to wash them before I touche anything else. It's the same problem I had with Skinfood, tough I think Etude one is even more sticky. Well, as long as it is not greasy or oily, and feels good on my face, I don't mind it too much.
In conclusion I really like this cream, I'm really happy with how it works on my face and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who, looks for good source of everyday moisture.
At the moment it's hard for me to tell if I buy it again, because I still haven't decided  which of those two products I like better.

Etude House Surprise Concealer Kit #02
Very, very, veryyyy dark under eye circles are really my nightmare. It's so hard to find anything that would cover them and nicely blend with color of my skin. My dark circles are like my face's final boss, and I need to level up and level up my makeup skills and look for good quality concealer which I could use, like a knight uses sword in his battle, finally gain the power to slay this evil apparition and be able to cover them completely.
In my search for good concealer I've encountered Etude Concealer kit specially designed to cover under eye circles. It consists of two different colors and that's what mainly influenced my decision to buy it.
In the instructions, it is written to first use bb cream, then peachy color and as a final step blend everything wit dark yellow one.  First, I have to say that this concealer has very nice consistence and in opposition to other similar products, which can dry your skin, this actually moisturize it!
When it comes to cover I would say that Etude product is on about mid boss level. It conceals quite good but still lack coverage to make my dark circles disappear. After using it, they're much more unnoticeable, but still I can see them and what I want is to make them disappear completely.
I think it's a good product for everyone with "ordinary" dark circles, it feels good on skin, gives moderate coverage and is one of the best concealers I've used.  I don't regret buying it but
unfortunately, for me journey in search for my ultimate weapon still continuous.

Thank you for your time <3

    1. It's quite cold hi hi. every winter I use to go to cool and university in similar temperatures back in Poland so I'm use to the cold. Tough I still hate it, and prefer late spring's war air ^___^
I would say both creams, Etude and Skinfood are quite similar. Both are really nice and the biggest difference is in price. Skinfood is a little bit cheaper and is 75ml when Etude is only 50ml.
Of course, I'll visit your blog ^__^

  4. Hi! I was looking for a review on the surprise concealer kit, because I want to try it since it's more affordable than what I use, and my main concern is my very dark circles which based on your post I think we have the same problem. So thank you very much for this review, I have decided to stick to the one I use as of now instead of switching to the surprise concealer kit. Oh by the way I just want to suggest (if you haven't tried it yet) using Bobbi Brown's corrector and it is best used with the Bobbi Brown's concealer kit, it's kinda pricey but it is so worth it. :)
