Tokyo trip advice and the first day of Spring

Hello,
I know I'm already boring with this but my trip to Japan is sooo close and I really can't wait now <3 That's why I wanted to ask for some suggestion, especially about some interesting places to visit or where to eat. At the moment I'm planing what to do for every day and already have a lot of spots to see, but Tokyo is enormous so for sure, there's  a lot of nice places I haven't heard about.
I'll be there for 11 days, one day I'm reserving for Nagano (I love sengoku period of Japanese history, my graduation thesis was about the battle of Kawanakajima, so I just can't miss going there hi hi), second day for a Fujisan tour and that leaves me 9 days for exploring Tokyo.
So if you have any good ideas, please share it with me ^____^
I hope the weather will be warm and sunny and I will be able to enjoy beautiful hanami <3
I've already been to Tokyo once, about 3 years ago, back when I was modeling for Bodyline, but now I'm going with my husband so I'm really looking forward to it <3333333333333333333

Today is the first day of spring but when I'm looking throug the window, it looks much more like the first day of winter.... Please, dear snow, melt already and don't fall from the sky anymore. Take some nice, long sleep and come back in December. It's already the time....
With this photos I'm saying goodby to Winter, hoping the scenery will soon change form snowy landscape to blooming, green meadows.

  2. I guess you probably figured this out already (and have been there before), but if you are in Tokyo you MUST go to Takeshita Street in Harajuku! My absolute favourite place. Not so much for sight-seeing, but it is an experience worth making. And there is also the Meiji Jingū jut across the street of Takeshita steet if you want to mix it up with some classical sight seeing, and Yojogi park near it too (though I have never been there)

Other than that the Zoo in Ueno is like my second favourite place in Tokyo, I go there each time I am there, it's the most beautiful zoo I have ever seen and worth checking out too! The Ueno park around the zoo in general is a place I like to go, because, even though it is kind of in the middle of Ueno, it is so calm at the same time.

When it comes to shrines and temples I don't think Tokyo has much to offer, at least it's very disappointing compared to other parts of Japan.

And if you have the time, you might want to make a trip to Yokohama. You can bee there from Toyko in just 20 minutes with the shinkansen, and something like 45 minutes with the cheap local train. Yokohama bay with its fairy wheel is also a place I always go to when I am that area. I also know a million places where to eat (my husband goes hunting for good food stores like I go hunting for clothing stores in Tokyo), but I am afraid I could never give an address or name, just would find the stores again from visual memory. But you are a vegetarian, right? So you don't get to eat that much in Tokyo anyway unless you eat fish. O.o

PS. I sent your Etude House Trial Set parcel out yesterday, but I sent it via ship, so I am afraid it might take wuite a while till it arrives! T_T

    1. Thank you for all of your recommendations <3
I remember, when I was 3 year ago in Tokyo I've spent almost half of my time on Takeshita street and Yoyogi park because because people from Bodyline often left me in front of their store in Harajiuku and just told me "go sightseeing" and I was so afraid that I'm gonna get lost so I didn't wander to far >___< Ueon park and Zoo are of course already on my list, and I also really curious about the Shinagawa aquarium.
Yokohama sound really nice! The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the name is this enormous Ferris wheel. I would love to get a raid on it tough I must admit I don't know almost anything about this city. I'll have to read a little bit more so maybe if we have time we will visit it.

My mind is already peppered for 2 weeks of eating mostly plain rice, salads and desserts hi hi , but I'm looking for some nice places for my husband, so he could enjoy some nice, tasty food. Fortunately I also have found some vegetarian\vegan restaurants so I could eat some proper meals as well ^__^

I got the package about 3 or 4 day ago. This set will be just perfect for my trip <3 Again, thank you soo, soo much <333

  3. I long for spring as well. But according to the weather forecast there will be new snow at the weekend in my country, boo :(

You should try some of the theme cafes! I loved the Alice Cafe :D Other places I liked were Ueno Zoo and park, Odaiba for shopping walks, Edo Museum... Aaaaand Ghibli Museum in Mitaka! ♥

And the usual stuff like Harajuku (Laforet) and Shibuya, but you probably know that already :)

  4. Great photos, as always :D I'm looking forward for some real spring too, but this weekend it will rain. And I wanted to go to the seaside, sigh.
I only stayed in Tokyo 3 days, so I don't think I can give you so much of an advice. However I absolutely loved the national museum in Ueno park and the park too.
As an otaku I was really happy to visit Akihabara too. I ate a great chirashi for a good price there, but I don't remember the name of the place ^^'

Najlepiej 2 tygodnie białego puchu z -10 stopniami, a później odrazu wiosna ^___^
